Thank you liteweight, for posting these very interesting pictures.

I have a couple of really old pics that maybe not all have seen.
Paper tag looks like it might be this Starting Instructions.
And yes, I have several old pics showing Parking Brake was in working order (just left of the exhaust outlet). And I don“t think owners went through the trouble installing it, if it is like you say...
