Terry,

if I can run a Powerglide with the 350/360/325 that will sell the deal. I would much rather run the glide than a 3 speed.

Doesn't reverse direction on the 1-2 shift , but does come to a stop . Then spins up the same direction as the engine when making a 2-3 shift . The Superlight reduces that inertia dramatically for both those shifts , that is why it's so fast !

Which part are you talking about? There is no drum for low/reverse only drums are forward and direct.

Both the 350 and the 400's High gear housings spin opposite engine revs in 1st gear , come to a stop in 2 gear , then spin with the engine in 3rd gear . This is true with the 200, C4 , C6 , 904 , and 727 , which have similar powerflows .

The direct drum makes high and reverse. Not low/rev.
This is the drum we're talking about. Maybe that's where the confusion is from.

OK, Direct drum is what I thought was meant as that's the drum with the sprag on it.
