If Mark did the crank, you chose the best!

The crank was previously done by a place in Ohio, not changing the crank.

Pistons came back today, spirolox came in, still no word on the crank. Working on the heads a little and since I couldn't get the info the machinist needed for a hone finish he said he will call the "ring guy" tomorrow. Meanwhile our first divisional is this weekend and we ain't there.

Todd, no offense but you've got to stop "out tricking" yourself
or you're never going to be racing.

None taken. So what would be an average argument against any changes I have made to get this back together and racing quicker?

Every time I've bought a used race car I've done the exact same thing as you have.......gone through the car..........and I've missed races, so I understand what your doing-and I do the same thing myself.

I think its possible and I could be wrong....but I think Billy might be saying you could have raced the car the way you bought it.

Well in that case, Billy and my wife have at least one thing in common.

Finish with a 280 grit to size, 3-4 strokes with a 400 grit cleaning the stones at every hole.

He's looking for RA RPK, RVK #s. Or something like that.
