2019 Race Schedule

Last week we were informed by Wild Horse Pass that the club day for our last race, Sunday Oct 20th, has been cancelled due to another event booking. This was the second race of our season ending double header. Our Saturday event, October 19th will remain as scheduled and will now be our last event of the 2019 season.

WHP has provided an alternate date, Saturday September 21, to replace the cancelled date. This is a night event with a 4pm gate time and track hot at 6pm. We are not thrilled with this option, but seeing as there are no conflicts with other division 7 events, we will be running on the September date. This date does provide tune-up opportunity a couple weeks before the WHP divisional so we are hoping that is one positive that racers will be able to get out of this change. I’ve updated the schedule on the first post as well as attached it here to reflect this change.

For those who haven’t heard, race 3 in Tucson had 7 cars that attended. Unfortunately just prior to first round the track had an issue where the tractor pulled the rubber off the surface when dragging the track and we were unable to complete any eliminations. Our ladder was set and WHP has agreed to allow us to complete the 3 rounds during the October event after the racers involved are out of competition. This race will remain a Tucson event for the Kadar Performance points for the 2020 divisional entry. For those who are curious, first round pairings for this race are listed below:
