I see you are hitting the nationals..... gonna do a separate thread on the Pontiacs at divisionals? not everyone goes to the Nationals.... some of us just don't go anymore from past experiences.

Yeah, just about to start including the div races. DRC only shows 2012-up div race results. Right now, DRC is about the only source I have. If somebody knows a quick reliable source for the older div races, I'll be glad to dive into 'em & see what I can find.

There are also races with other names, like regionals, national opens, Stock/SS combo races. There's no way I can hope to find results for all those. So, anybody with info about Pontiac wins at any of those special races, please post it.

OK, we'll now look at the 2012 season. And, since DRC has div race results from 2012-up, we'll also look at some of those.

Remember, we are now looking mostly at the '70-'73 Firebirds, but also mentioning other good Pontiac Stocker info we find during the search for those year models.

As usual, the Winter Nats was the 1st big race of the year, in 2012. At That race, Leo was #2 @ - 1.017. Brad was #5 @ -.943. Scott was #9 @ -.917. Larry was #12 @ -.909. John was #18 @ -.880. Lindy was #45 @ -.725.

At the AZ Nats, Rick was #1 @ - 1.009, with his 301T Bird. Leo was #3 @ -.948. Brad was #4 @ -.946. Scott was #7 @ -.915.

At the div 7-1 race, Scott was #4 @ -.907. Michael was #10 @ -.865. Leo was #12 @ -.851. Larry Was #15 @ -.814. Rick was #23 @ -.787. John was #29 @ -.750. Glenn Person was #30 @ -.717. Lindy was #53, & Brad was on the bottom, with a scorching 28.000.

At the div 7 Vegas race, Leo Was #1 @ -.987. Scott was #4 @ -.936. Michael was #5 @ -.922. Larry was #11 @ -.878. John was #25 @ -.793. Glenn Person was #32 @ -.749. Lindy was #60.

At the 1st Vegas Nat of the year, Pontiacs were #1, #2, & #4 Qualifiers. Since there will be so many races to cover, with the inclusion of the div races, I no longer try to list the times of each Pontiac. But I'll try to list the highest Pontiac qualifiers. Anyone interested in the lower qualified Pontiacs can simply click on the link & look down the list. At this race, Leo was .973 under, & Michael & Scott were close behind.

Said I was gonna break the season after the May races. So, we'll see how that works out. Pontiacs still running strong, just not as many wins this season.
