Default Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant

Maybe the Atlanta pts meet. The engine is at a stopping point, it holds water and we, Cooter has a tune in it. We have yet to get A to B, trans ratios (Joel has helped), converter flash, shift points, starting RPM, and shock settings, just to name a few.

Condensation in the valve covers seems like a lot to me, but zero water in the pan. The engine makes good power a little north 7000 RPM. After racing a 440 all these years that seems like a lot of RPM's. It sure sounds good on the dyno.

My job at the dyno was easy all I had to do was stay out of the way. Sid operated, Cooter did the tuning, and Shawn did most everything else except supervise. Supervision was left to the master, Mr. Jeff.

Two days of fun at the dyno, I just love it!
