What a day, nothing worked that would repeat with the exception of gravity. The bright spot is; its a solid roller so I will not have to pull the head to install a solid lifter for checking valve lift.

I'll try something different today.

Change filters, add oil, install engine and trans. One step closer.

I finally got the above post done.
I had some good reasons why it took so long. A lingering cold, and a Grandpa. Its fun being at the granddaughters Basketball, soccer, and volleyball games. I know people outside the states of Kentucky and Indiana do not Capitalize the word Basketball. I'm not sure what the penalty is in Indiana, but here in Kentucky it's not a felony but darn close.

I have drive train installed. I have different shaped bolts for engine mounts, and transmission mounts. Both had same size bolts, now head size and flange is different making it easier to assemble. Best thing about this installation is never having having to use the ill fitting CSR shield. I want to say more about CSR but I won't, you get the picture.

Larry,

I apologize if I missed this earlier in this thread, but what did you use that fit better than the CSR.

I am not a big fan of CSR either.

Thanks,
Bill

TCI shields and a BFH. It ain't easy or fun adjusting stuff to make it fit. I don't think the knot on my left thumb will ever go away, missed swing of a four lbs hammer.
