After yesterday's dyno session, I felt like I'd been interviewing as a 'diver' on a Top Fuel team. So, Todd...if you end up renting that Top Fuel ride, I'm your bottom end guy!

Whoever came up with the one piece SBC oil pan gasket idea...God bless 'ya! -Al

Trent Gusso @ Dakota Speed Lab worked his magic on the control arms. Thanks, Trent!

The AFCO double adjustable front shock update was worth doing. Thanks to the guys at AFCO for working with me on the valving for my application.

Smoothing things out (up) and controlling it better (down) really helped....worth a couple hundredths. -Al

We hit two important goals this season.

With the G/SA index being 12.00 (uncorrected), any run in the 10's would both get the car in the '1 Second Under Club' as well as being it's first pass in the 10's. We were close earlier this season at Earlville, Iowa, running 11.04. At Pierre, S.D. it went 11.155 on the altitude corrected 11.15 index.

After the front end tweaks and more digging for whatever crumbs we could find, it responded some more. Again at Earlville over Labor Day, it went 10.955 on Q1, 10.947 on Q2 and two 10.96's in eliminations.

Happy to see you got it flying . I got mine out to two races in the last month after a 2 year hiatus with health issues. Had nothing but trans issues that had started back in 18. I had rebuilt the trans but never got to test it till now. Same problem was there in mid August. Went through the trans again and could not see anything really wrong other than some slightly marred teeth on the sliders. Went to last race of the year for us and problem was still there. Made for a long tow home. Sitting at work Monday night I suddenly realized what the problem was. I put the shift levers on incorrectly. Made 1st gear actually 2nd and so on. So I was actually trying to downshift on launch and third was forth. What a @@ I am. Oh well , now time to get ready for next season with a new trans and clutch. Sorry for ramblin on.
