I had a couple more pics that I neglected to include in the last update, so here ya go}
The bracket that holds the alternator, also held the p/s pump and A/C compressor. I attacked it with a Sawzall and left just enough I think.It also bolts to the head. I had to rotate the tensioner to the left and then find the exact right belt. (3 tries) but it oughta work okay. ![]() I had to heat the front hubs with an acetylene torch to get the axle out of them, which , in turn , ruined the wheel bearings..The axle splines were choked with rust but I managed to save them by using small cut off wheel on a Dremel tool to clean them up. It all pressed back together fairly easy . ..A few more parts not covered with grease and rust anymore.. ![]() ![]()

Nice progress, Mark. Header looks great. I`m guessing the water pump needs to driven off the timing belt, so no way to run it electrically?

The Motorcraft PW 611 electric pump is going into the lower hose.If it's good enough for the 2016 302 Cobra Jet, then it's good enough for me. Going to match up a bottom hose tomorrow and then build a bracket to hold it. No, you can't buy one at Jegs or Summit.. ;-) Pics to follow.
