Chevy II Nova front coilover suggestions
I have stock front end 67 chevy II bracket car. Upgraded to tubular upper and lower control arms from church boys racing and now looking to put front double adjustable coilovers on it. It seems that strange and qa1 do not make a coilover package for 66-67 Chevy II.
Looking for suggestions on what is being used for this conversion? Thanks for your help. |

Call Church Boys. They offer a dbl adjustable shock, made by Viking.

Re: Chevy II Nova front coilover suggestions
Yes thanks, i have spoken with them. Am not really familar with viking brand and price for drag racing shock kit with spring is $730 which is a couple hundred $ higher than the other options I listed above (but not for Chevy II) so was hoping might find some other options to consider. I guess if no other options I will go with the viking option.
thanks for suggestion |

Re: Chevy II Nova front coilover suggestions
I have been running the Viking dbl adjustable on my 91 Corvette front and rear, got them on my 96 Caprice dbl adj. both ends and got a set for a 66 Chevy II I'm building.
I am not that shock adjusting guy, but my son seems to get me close. Ernie Neal SS 354 |

Re: Chevy II Nova front coilover suggestions
Auto-Fab in Md. made a coilover setup for a friend years ago using the stock control arms I believe....He had a '67 Chevy II
Not sure if they are still in business.....or where they were exactly.... I'm thinking the Baltimore area.....AutoFab

Re: Chevy II Nova front coilover suggestions
I have AutoFab tubular control arms on my '70 Nova. They offered an option for a stock-type spring pocket, which I didn't do. I feel like I lost travel and stored energy when I switched to coil-overs (QA1) although the car does still work great after finding the correct spring rate.
