Brad got what I call a 3rd place finish at this race. He's had a pretty good year, so far. https://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCS...er=30#indextop |

Need some help with this one.
On a FB site I'm trying to find out what was the quickest legal 1969 GTO NHRA Stock Elim car, ever. Found a '70 nat record list showing that the "Nemesis" Judge held the E/SA record in the 11.90's. So, does anybody here have proof of one that ran quicker ? If so, please post all the info you have for the car. Also, I'm trying to find out what was the last quick legal '69 GTO NHRA Stocker to be on active racing duty ? Nowadays, the '69 has a good NHRA hp factor for the 350hp 400 engine, @ 325. But, for many years prior to the reduction, the '69 GTO engine factors were too high for the combo to be competitive. Therefore, I haven't run across a single '69 GTO Stocker that was still competitive, after the early '70's. So, who remembers a competitive '69 GTO Stocker, that was still active in the '80's ? How 'bout the late '70's ? Would appreciate all the help I can get on this ! ![]() |
