Enjoy,
I didn't talk much (if at all), about my Turbo 125 transaxle, but it has a shift kit in it, with 3.73 to 1 planetary gearing from a 4cyl J car. When the engine was rebuilt for Stock Eliminator, Marv Ripes (former owner/founder), of A1 Performance Converters and Transmissions, built an 8" torque converter for it once the lock up mechanism was removed. Lane and Shell at S&A Transmissions in Englewood, Co., had the unit sent back to be loosened so it would stahl to 3600rpm. I know headers will help improve my et's, but since "Shark Bait" runs between .2 & .6 under the CF/S 15.6 index (depending on the track and air conditions), I can better use the possibly $1,000 to enter races and pay for tires for it, until I get richer.

Thanks Dave, it's going to be interesting next year (really in 2024 when my home track's officially gone...Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park). I guess I'll have to be more like Darcy Clarke was this year, however not all in the same year since I still work a regular job, and don't get enough vacation time for such a task as Darcy's was.
