Sorry for the lack of updates.
Came home from the show and began to work on the chassis setup. Found the rear shocks were not sitting down at ride height length so I had to swap from the 80 lb coil springs to a 70 lbs. Put the car on scales as well as measuring and plotting the instant center. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Next up was to put the car on the chassis dyno to work on the efi tune. Got the tuneup almost done when we heard a noise in the valvetrain and aborted any more runs. Took the car home to investigate.

Pulled the passenger valve cover on the dyno and found 3 of the small bolts laying in the head that attach the exhaust stand to the intake stand.
Got home and took it all apart to inspect the thread inserts in the heads. False alarm, all was tight and threads were good. Can only assume those small bolts just never got tightened completely. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Next up was to finally put all the safety gear in the car. The seat belts were first, but it's a project. The seat has to come out to be able to reach the bolts for bolting them in. The driveshaft enclosure is really close to the seat, so it and the driveshaft have to come out to be able to unbolt the seat.
