i have one thats a rolling chassis and Ive just starting the restoration on it , after its sat in storage since the early 80s . its a 70 Challenger originally raced out of Hillsborough N.J. . The SS/JA car was trimmed as a 1971 and was raced independently with support from Hamburger and then as a Hamburger team car in 78

I had Phil Strudwick's (Canada) car for a while straightening out some carb problems back in the '80s but have no idea where it went. Jim

I owned Niel Goldstein's Duster stocker for a short time. Put it back into the Hamburger paint scheme then sold it to Sam Dillow from the New England area. He repainted it and is now called the Saw Duster. Absolutely beautiful paint job. As far as I know, he still has it.

Mike Ferrel now has the 71-72 Demon that was Hamburger-Bachelder-Chipman. Originally we built it as a 71 Duster SS/I, Herb McCandless did the cage, suspension etc. Got converted to a Demon, retired and set for a few years then sold to Dave Flarherty who restored the original paint and raced it a couple of times, he sold it to another racer who restored the interior and built a 400+ " motor with W-2 Heads, never raced it, sold then to Tom Auger, Tom changed the cage to chrome moly, installed disc brakes and went thru everything, he then sold it to Mike, Mike has run it a couple of times with that bracket motor and gone 9.90's. Hopefully he will have it out this year with a legal SS motor.
Mike let Ed and David Hamburger display it with one of their new supercharger kits at the SEMA show in Vegas last fall. , |

Jim, it’s still up here, not far from Toronto. Recently changed hands. It may make an appearance in the near future. The current owner is a dedicated Mopar racer/collector.
