Re: “Live” from St Louis 2023
If you’re listening to Allen Rhinehart he spoke of the dating pool. At St Louis there is a large area of pavement that is usually used for VIP parking. At this race it’s use is the dating pool. All racers are directed into the pool where you find your opponent decide lane choice then both pull into the lanes. It worked very well. Today for round 2 for Stock and Super Stock they had first three designated pairs. I don’t know how they were chosen but it did move things along on a busy day with a full schedule.
This week has been great seeing friends, making new acquaintances, and having a car that is starting to behave like a real race car. For those parked on the grass the track announced that before you try to leave notify the track and they would provide assistance if needed to get out. It will keep the grounds in good shape and keep you rig as clean as possible. I believe they said to contact Ms Sally for help. If you want to attend a great venue with some killer competition make plans to be in StLouis next year. |

With 140 stockers on property, why were there 2 bye runs? I would understand if the car next to you breaks, but that didn't look the problem seeing it on the computer.

The 2nd one happened a little further back in the staging lanes but the cars were both paired and in the staging lanes. At that point, all of the alternates had already been sent back to the pits since all cars were present and accounted for and in the lanes. |

Re: “Live” from St Louis 2023
Unfortunately, NHRA's youTube channel got hit with a copyright violation which killed the connection for the day. Hopefully fixed for tomorrow. In the meantime, the full event stream has been available on NHRA.tv and can be seen for free.

It was Logan Belanger and Hall in Super Stock and Hall won!
In Stock it was Rachelle over Mike for her first divisional win! Congrats to all!! |
