I bought my 2nd Cobra Jet from Jerry Dick in 1999. It was the old Wildfire car.

Mild pump gas 428 made 464 hp on the dyno, unfortunately 5 years of work came to a bad end-fortunately I wasn't hurt

Kept this one 25 years-still around SoCal I believe-in 2004 I drove it to Ohio from SoCal for 3 Buick specific races. Had a Ford 9 inch-2.50 gears and a Q-Jet were good for 16 mpg-swapped in a 3.90 locker once in Ohio and ran low 13s with a low compression 455

Modern Muscle-if you want to daily drive and enjoy performance, everything current is awesome-as a basically GM guy who loves everything at this point, these two were great

This was my last fun street car. It was a real sleeper....gave the ricer guys fits. Cornered like it was on rails.

Here's my 1970 Nova (13,800 original miles, 565 BBC, ATI TH400, M-W 12 bolt, etc.). Finished the car last year. Car seems to haul *** and pretty much rotate the earth, but I doubt I'll be taking it to the track any time soon. My wife is seriously ill with stage 4 cancer, so I've had the car advertised for sale on and off. If it doesn't sell, I'll just cover it up and store it.

Wayne, I hope things improve for your wife. If you need to come to Winnipeg for any Medical visits, remember, you've got a place to stay.
Regards, J.R. |
