I'm very saddened to hear that Bill is no longer with us. I always had the utmost respect for Bill and like others had mentioned, he had a tough shell but once you got through it he would be a lifelong friend. I got my first class win against Bill at the 1988 Summernationals, but the best part was that he offered for myself and buddy Bernie Emling to come over to his pit area and have a beer....which we did. RIP Bill!

Sad news. Billy was a great guy and very serious about his racing. He always called me Parker. Had a lot of great conversations with him through the years. As most know back in the 70's ,80's and 90's his brother Donnie did a lot of work for many of us racers. Both very knowledgeable. They both have been missed at the races for a long time. My condolences to Donnie and the whole Quinn family. We've lost another "Old School" Stock racer. BP
