My guess and it is just a guess it will be at one of the Combo races at Beach Bend. With all the new stuff I hope it will be a smooth transition. Plus Joel is doing his magic on the trans. I still have a lot of balls in the air.

When you get old you have time to solve a make believe problem. So I took the time to check the intake area of the oil filters I use. One has six larger holes the other filter has eight holes that are visible smaller but not small. So after I did the math one filter has aver 14 percent more intake area. Now on to the next mystery

We are learning what works and what does not. I got to see the new aluminum block for us and all I have to do now is Save Up!

The dyno was a success, I lost ten + pounds. We tested so much my race engine thought it was a dyno mule. We tested plugs, timing, coil packs, valve adjustments (thanks George), fuel map, rolled the cam around (thanks Charlie for a great product), worked on air fuel ratio, intake manifolds, and headers.
It was great to here it sing it’s song over and over again! Many thanks to Jeff Taylor Performance for their help, professionalism, and guidance to help me make my time at the dyno productive. Now we need to apply it to the track. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun. Last edited by Larry Hill; 02-17-2025 at 08:20 PM. |
