There for sure is a huge difference in how you dial a car that is shaped like a brick on the 1/4 mile.....hitting that wall of wind at 800 ft. at Indy or Tri-State can ruin your day.....big difference between 100 MPH and 125 MPH.
I've seen the flag at the starting line hanging limp and felt like someone slammed the brakes on at 800 feet at Tri-Slide, where the wind gets through the tree line.
