Chris,

just curious...where would you fit into that? Isn't WV in it's own category?

sometimes...we are for the north
sometimes...we are for the south
We are in the unique postition of capitalizing on what best serves our interest!

We did have the first soldier killed ( T. Bailey Brown) as well as the first land battle of the Civil War (Philippi) right in the area of home.
But that was when we were still part of Virginia.

now 90% of the country refers to us as "Western" Virginia.

If I lived closer to Beckley or Lewisburg, I might say I am from the south, but it is about a 6 hour tow to Piedmont for me, so I would probably call that North for arguements sake.

Herb,

What is your opinion on Top Stock? I have already heard Tracy's thoughts on it.

Thanks,

Daren

Cool Re: Carolina Class Racers Association

I just joined a similar asc. in Florida this month, Jim Wood is the pres. Jim Wahl is the vice pres. Asc. name is SSSSA. I would suggest contacting one of them and picking there brains. I look forward to racing with these guys and girls this year. I have only met two guys from SSSSA and they are tops! I just met Scott Helms this weekend, one of the nicest guys I have met in drag racing. George R. out of div. 3 is a great guy too. I met, I think his first name is Todd, Todd Ward, hell of a nice guy, Mopar man from way back as I understand. Anyway back to the main subject, from reading these posts it looks like you all got a good thing going. I might have to sneek up there and race at one or two events. If anybody has anymore info, email me at racerrick2881@yahoo.com . STOCKERS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick.

This Association has no operating expenses so anything broght in gets paid to the racers in a points fund or race purse. Tracy and myself have decided if we have an overage we will keep a certain dollar to roll over to 2010 after this year. All this will be discussed the 2nd Saturday of January at The Cutting Board in Burlington NC.

Is this still on?
