"The Coughlin Family, which has successfully guided the Company's expansion across three generations, said, "After more than sixty years in business, our family was very focused on identifying a growth partner who shares our values and has a clear vision for the future of JEGS. We've found that partner in Greenbriar, and we look forward to remaining significant shareholders alongside them."

The sky may not be falling, but only time will tell.

I'm not sure what the lawsuit was from, but many in this industry are caused by shipping errors, such as inadvertently sending hazardous materials by air freight. That's one way a high performance retailer can wind up in hot water.

Is it based off of non emission approved items being sold for street use? IDK

I know that distributors/manufacturer's can get fined/sued for shipping hazardous materials by air freight, such as lithium batteries, performance fuel additives, circle track tire treatments, etc. That's where a lot of the problems lie, not some political conspiracy.

If I was Jegs, I would never sell a part again to anyone who lives in the republic of California. F that state. Between their off road engine laws, madates on electric cars, and even gun laws, it seems impossible to live there.

The sky may not be falling, but only time will tell.

That's the same thing everyone who ever sold the family business to an equity firm has said.

Time will tell indeed.
