Contingency stiffs
So far CSR, Jet Hot and Crane are the worst. Crane does pay after 13 months or so. Called CSR for 4 months spoke to Lindsey who was willing to pay ASAP and check never came....and now she doesn't even return calls when leaving numerous messages on her voice mail. Jet Hot is just out in left field and I will go with Nitroplate on new headers.
Also bought Moroso products for the past 20 years. Stopped by the Moroso trailer on saturday at Richmond race to buy parts that summit or jegs probably would have given me a better price on.They stopped by my trailer on sunday before the semi finals to have me open the hood. Sheetmetal valve covers don't count for contingency...Oil pans only and since my Moroso pan is on my other motor they informed me they won't be paying me for the race.....so next year I will have stickers on the car from companies that honor their commitments and appreciate my business. Re: Contingency stiffs
We didn't have any issues getting payment from Pace or Manley....Pace we had to fax a copy of our registration card (each year), Manley I think our engine builder had to fax something for (maybe). All of contingency stickers have always paid within 3 months, but those are the only two that have been listed thus far that we have products with.

Re: Contingency stiffs
Barry Grant is brutal ... gave up on them after 14 months.
Mickey Thompson's contingency program is the best. |

Re: Contingency stiffs
I always get my check from Mopar within 30 days! Mickey Thompson and VP pay usually within 60 days. Jim

Re: Contingency stiffs
The quickest paying for me this year is Mickey Thompson, Summit, Jegs (with nice hats), and Mark Williams. Also, Mopar is not too bad.
Crane is horrible..........I got a check a couple of months ago from a race in July 2007!! Jeff Day |
