Modified, or SS and SS/GT?? There is a difference. I believe it's stated in the rulebook.

Straight from the 2010 rulebook for SS:
Page 129
Permitted. Wheels must be non-metallic. May not be attached to
rear bumper or bumper braces. May be 48 inches in length or to
rear bumper, whichever is longer. Length is checked from centerline
of rear axle to center of wheelie-bar wheel.

Are they ever gonna let you guys put bars on in NMCA Pro Stock?? Or are they waiting on someone to get seriously hurt?

Goodwin broke his neck at Memphia in 2004 or 2005. Larry Rhodes had to get cut out of a car while unconscious in Chicago in 2007. A made more then a few doctor visits in 2008 from Commerce. Kemp totaled his car in 2009 at Milan. Were they serious enough???

Exactly my point... Its too bad that organization would rather put their drivers at risk than make a simple rule change. I'm sure that some Superstock racers would like to move over to that class if a few rule changes were made to allow the cars to compete.
