Re: NHRA Fantasy League
The 1 that NHRA has had for the last couple years now cost you $5.00 to join.
The good news is our NHRA Drag Racing fantasy game is back for its seventh consecutive season. The bad news is it’s not free this year. This is a hopefully temporary situation that will be remedied by next year. Gosh, do we ever miss the very good folks at CSK Auto Parts. RIP, Martin. The fee? It’s only $5.00 for the whole season. That's less than a McDonalds Big Mac meal, less than an order of wings from Hooters, less than a Starbucks triple grande soy vanilla latte. (Or, for some of you hardcore race fans who don’t relate to gourmet coffee, buffalo wings or fast food from Mickey Dee’s, its less than a pack of Marlboro Reds, a table dance or a six-pack of Bud in bottles.) NOTE: Everyone can register and put in their picks for Pomona because the PayPal mechanism won't go active until March. We’re adding our remaining inventory of vintage CSK Gold 1/24 scale funny car collectibles to the prize bank and giving out 28 of them (23 Top Dawgs, 4 Quarterly winners and 1 Race to the Countdown winner) this season, with shipping included. And we’re still trying to find sponsors to help us out with more and better prizes. There is an alternative entry option that you can read about in Rules & Regulations but it means you’re playing by mail, you don’t have access to the website and you have to pay for shipping and handling if you win one of the rare Del Worsham/Frank Pedregon collectibles (which come with a special gold storage tin and are brand spanking new in unopened boxes). If you think the experience is worth half a sawbuck, please join us. Go to http://nhra.fmfl.net, click on register to play and follow the instructions. The Commish |
