Nice car.The guy could have put up more pics.I guess the engine is a 289?

Thanks Ed. I agree. Some more and better pics, and a little more info would be helpful. It should be a 289, I believe.

Guys,

I just noticed that this car is in the same county I live in so if any one is SERIOUSLY interested I will go look at it for you.

I don't think the 289/271 combo is competitive but other versions are.

Believe I used to run against that model Comet 289/225hp combo many moons ago w/my old 283/220hp '64 Chevelle Malibu SS....There weren't alot of those Comets around, even back then...WJ

I bought one when i was 16 a four speed car(this was like in 1973 )for 125.00 because this guy could not figure out why it would not start, and the only problem was the distributor was in 180 degrees out.But i joined the navy few months later and when i got out boot camp i had to go to the local junk yard to see it .At that time i started to get it out but had no place to store it.
