Asdurian makes Pinks Top 16
Just got a call from Maple Grove, SS/C racer Aris Asdurian made it to the Top 16 field for the Pinks All Out race. ..... As far as I can tell he's the only stick car , and the only Class racer to make it. ....Good luck Dude! ...Tom

There was another gentleman with a 70 Javelin and a Lenco, on an episode of Pinks All Out. Unfortunately he broke an engine in round 2. I am not sure if it was AMC powered, but ,it was a wheels up ride!

e-mail I received from Ray, the owner driver of the '70 AMC Javelin that was onlast weeks Pinks-All Out:
I ran a 10.96 @ 117 and then blew the motor, it was a 406 with stock rods, roller cam, indy intake, 5 speed Lenco with 3:12 first, 31 X 14 tires and 5:38 Dana. I tried my new 435 820 H.P. motor last Saturday on a haff pass trying to break it in and lost most of the oil preasure. I removed the motor and I'm leaving for West Virginia tomorrow so the engine builder can work on it. I will let you know what happens. Tell Rob that I will call on the clutch soon to have it set up. Thanks, Ray Ray just bought one of my spare Advanced Clutches. That with his new AMC engine should have him deep into the 9's. Looks like Pinks likes these AMC's!!! GOOD LUCK ARIS!!!
