division 6 national opens
just saw this posted on the division 6 website.....
http://nhradiv6.com/apcm/templates/d...0266&zoneid=17 the way i read it, they will not honor the NO godl card at Lucas series races. Not that many peole in the northwest run the national open series, it's expensive and as time consuming as the division series, but pays less, has WAY less glory, and the gold card is useless. You dont win any more at the end of the year for being champion, you just get your jacket and wally and a goldcard that is pretty much worthless, at least to me. I was thinking about pursuing it, just for the gold card, but not anymore.... Whats the point of even running this series? Am I wrong? have they been honoring your national open series gold cards at Lucas races? Do any tracks take it for local races? thats what makes it worthwhile, and it seems that it has none of these perks. Oh well, it saves me the trip to Ashcroft.... i didnt really want to go anyway!

Sean,
Congratulations on winning the Seattle NO. Reading the article it does look like the card is good for national events but not divisional events. A lot of people probably share you?re sentiments especially when there is a dog and phony show like Seattle was. At least they got most of the feature leaker stuff out of the way on Saturday. If you want to make some money? Which most of us do, the combo series at mission is the only place to find it, without all the bull****.
And at a class facility. Terry Carp'e diem |
