The best one will likely be the lightest one.

Re: Best intake for 350 stocker motor?
Hi. I did a little research,since I have a '68 Chevelle 327 car.
Intake#1 should be #3919803. That's the OEM intake for the 327 250,275,and 325 horse, as well as the 350/295. Intake # 2,#3860384, appears to be a service replacement part. Intake#3,#3905393,is an OEM '67 327 intake. Intake#4,#3872783 is anOEM '66 327 intake. Intake#5,#3875954 appears to be another service replacement intake. As far as which one is best, there probably aren't much different if at all. After they get matched to ypur motor, any one of them probably would work. The 393 and the 803 seem to be the easiest to find. Best wishes on your project!! . |

Re: Best intake for 350 stocker motor?
The 783 intake is for a very small Holley that was offered on the 275 hp 327.
I think even smaller than the 585 cfm one on the L79. I didn't know that was on the 295 hp 350, but I don't think it would be the preferred option.

Dwight is correct.
I have ran both the 803 and the 393, there is no difference in the two. I would just leave it outside all winter then install LOL.

Seems that in 66, the QJ and the Holley intake had the same number.A Carter AFB was also in use that year.

Re: Best intake for 350 stocker motor?
There is something amiss with that.Maybe the guide is incorrect. I have the Q jet and Holley manifolds. A Qjet won't fit on the Holley one. I think an AVS uses the Holley ( 783) one too.
