2014 Buckeye S/SS opener @ Pacemaker Dragway

Well it's about time! The first race of the 2014 season is just about two weeks away. On Saturday June 7th at historic Pacemaker Dragway in Mt.Vernon, OH we will kick off the season. As usual we will run our two qualifier sessions and then got to first round.
We need to thank our sponsors. BASF Refinish takes care of all of the Iron Man trophies and the plaques for the runner ups. They have been consistent supporters since the inception of our series. Also supporting from the start is Mid Ohio Paving. Jim Nichols, owner, has been the provider of the Dial in Dollars for the racer that hits or comes closest to his or her dial in on the FIRST qualifier session. The professionals from Parsons & Myers Racing Engines, that provide power for many of the countries Stock and Super Stock racers, rewards the racer that has the best wining package in the first round of eliminations with $100 cash. Put the best package together and Bruce Parsons and Hot Rod Myers will pay.
Jeg's High performance has always supported us through Nitro Joe Jackson with gift certificates for winners and runner ups as well as tire covers, log books and more from the mail order king.

The defending event champion from the 2013 is Pennsylvania's Tom Losket driving his C/SA Plymouth Roadrunner. Last year he defeated Ryan Rudrick in his P/SA Duster. Ryan has been runner up the last two years here and is looking to close the deal this year.
