Let the 2015 ASRA season begin ! ! !

Race #1 is upon us and it is time to go racing Ladies and Gentlemen.

Mother nature has already reared up and postponed the Div 1 points race onto the same date as our opener, but we will run our race as scheduled on Saturday May 9th at New England Dragway. Sunday is Mothers day and as stated previously , under no circumstances will we run on Mother's day.

The weekend following our race is the NHRA Div 1 National Open at N.E.D.. The track management at N.E.D.is allowing us to leave our rigs in the pits over the week. The event promises to be a good one. It is an early chance to get a grade point and also for us to support one of our home tracks.

As usual all racers are welcome at our events, if you join ASRA you enjoy increased purses, The Banks points fund and also a chance to get into the Bouchers Automotive Machine Shootout. Dues remain at $350 and are payable at the race or you can mail them in. A form(waiver) and payment must be turned in before any points are earned.The form is on our web site asra-ne.com.

We all look forward to seeing everyone, there will be some new surprises for our members. See you there.

Will we be able to get to our motorhomes inside the track, if we return Thursday after leaving them Saturday

I looked at the track schedule and the D1 schedule and I don't see anything going on Thursday. Maybe best to ask at the track this saturday
