Those men and women, champions, deserve to enter whenever they want. Nice if they wait but if they have a reason not to, so be it. Their right.

Just a side note. I have always entered in the last weekend before a national event for decades and not only because I wanted everyone to get a chance to enter but I liked to keep my money in my pocket longer and not in NHRA's. Up until the last 2 years I could go online and enter, even if the field was over quota, in just minutes online. Now, for whatever reason, we have to call into NHRA, if over quota, and send paper work back and forth by text. They say they have been working on a fix for the past two years...??? Sometimes it has been a pain in the *** to sign up at the last minute. Have a good race to all of you going out to the Winternationals!
