OK Lemons car #3 if you dont count the first failure. Thanks to Frito we have a 77 New Yorker being converted to an Imperial. Theme will be the Green Hornet show with Kato and the Black Beauty. The bad news is every hard line and rubber component has to be changed. Motor runs but freeze plugs bad. So we just pulled it for a spare and dropped in a 53k mile RV TE 440. This motor is an RV TE 440 as well with 83k miles. Swapped tranny as fluid was black, new brakes, lines, hoses, radiator, Shooting (pun) for Barber MP near Birmingham in Feb. with 3 cars. I’ll definitely come over to Barber for that. For those who’ve never been Barber has an amazing motorcycle museum there as well.

Big thank you to Vic Custer @ East Texas Race Cars. He had his crew came in over the weekend and knocked out the Lemons 24 cage to spec. Very high quality work and followed Lemons instructions to the T. SO Barber Friday week. Thanks again Vic and staff. KATO

Barber closed last Monday as race is in a week. You could spectate that one. NOLA at end of March and Bowling Green end of Sept. That is the one we should talk about since your close by. Should have 5 cars by then so may stash one at your place. Tarp cover good enough. Just unloaded the NHRA junk. Love me some $500 cars......Phish
