Rear end out of square. Broken Axle. one front brake not holding. Preload in the suspension are all things to look for.

Could be.

Could also be the water box guy is no good or you’re pulling too far out of the water assuming you have a spool and not a posi,

Tire guys are usually pretty good about matching pairs but it wouldn't hurt to check the circumference on both slicks.

Good morning Mike and to all,
I had that happen to me at the second Maple Grove race in 2023, I also had a one year old Hurst Line Lock solenoid go bad me as well.
I tried another line lock solenoid form a friend and that's been working OK again. "New" doesn't seem to mean anything anymore. Good doesn't also.
You might be going through some New Car "Bugs", silly stuff that just needs a tweak or two and then you'll be on your way. Good luck on your adventure. You have to go race the car in order to find the problems.
Have a Good Day.

Respectfully,

This says all I need to know and supports what I have stated previously. Too many track owners/managers fail to understand that the water box guy(s) are the most important staff member on the track to those that are actually racing, it is not an entry level position.
