It was on the TA website at one time. I sincerly hope that this has changed as I have used a great many of their products for years. Jack is right, Paul is a great friend to the racer and a wealth of information. I'm not buying the every ...........fill in the blank, years. Jethot is another. I'm not wearing out my custom built headers recoating them every so often to have the privilage of advertising for a company for very little pay. Too many manufacturers will pay what their competition is paying even if they aren't listed as a "contingency sponsor" without limitations as long as you run their decals and provide proof of a win or r/u.

For the record on this post! I have used a Turbo Action shifter in several different cars with and without air with zero problems. It is a great product and the life expectancy is unlimited. A truely great product in every way.

I'm with you - shifters should not be a "wear it out every 4 years" item, if they are, you need to buy a better quality shifter. Tires, gears, rings, bearings, etc., these wear out and need periodic replacing.

I think they pay now if the serial number is 2001 or newer

Be careful which one you order. The air shifter style and the manual style have different gates on them. I believe the air style has a strait pull from n to 2nd and then it kicks to the right for 3rd. Using this gate manually you have ot be careful that it's in 1st not 2nd. The manual gate has a stop for 1st and then it kicks to the right for 2nd (spring loaded) and back to the left for 3rd. So you go from n to 1 strait down and at this point it kicks to the right, then pull strait down for 2nd. For 3rd you need to pull it down and left in one motion. If you leave your hand on it during launch, you can pull it into 2nd.

Great shifter, if you have the right one for the application you'll never have a problem and with a quick glance you can see just what gear you are in, not like those ratchet type ones.

My footbrake car goes 6:25 in the 1/8th mile. Never any problems, my dad bought everything from McCandless Performance years ago. I have not ordered anything lately from Turbo Action, but the last time I spoke directly with Paul Forte. That is all but unheard of in todays world.

Have one in the Buick. Gotta say its the best shifter I've every used. Mine is a turbo 400 reverse pattern and I use the air shifter... Everything works perfect..
