Currently, there is an A class at 6.00 to 6.49.That would make an automatic at SS/AA Now,there is going to be an AA class at 5.50-5.99.That would make an automatic a SS/AAA I guess. But a stick in AA is also SS/AA? All these "A's" gets confusing! |

This might help with the confusion. So I guess an automatic is SS/AAAA? |
Re: New Super Stock Class
The GT/AA camaro with 427 was 3610lb. Camaro wt run down to 2800. A light Camaro with the big motor would be easier on parts and this would definitely make a place for these BB cars from the SB FWD cars..

Re: New Super Stock Class
As for cars that would fit a 5.50-5.99 pound class:
http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._4341397_n.jpg The very rare triple-turbocharged, six-cam 231 EFI Oldsmobile Jam-Pak motor. I tried to run it in the Hemi Challenge at the 2006 Dutch Classic at Maple Grove. They wouldn't allow me to do so, but as you can see here, I showed THEM. And, a 7.0 and 7.5 pound SS/GT class would be neat, for those wanting to run hi-powered engines (LS-6, ZL-1, Ford T-bolt motor, Hemi, etc) without weighing 4,000 pounds. |
