All the talk of new classes in Stock,I missed the fact that there will be a new Super Stock class.
AA - 5.50 to 5.9 Do any cars currently fit this class? |

Jeff, as funny as that sounds, I know a present SS racer that did all the leg work for that combo. Was going to run in A and go after the hemi cars before they were segregated! Had a nos body located and a letter from Shelby himself.
As much as I wouldn't want to hear and see the uproar, I thought it was an ingenious idea… |

Here's an article about the Gus Zuidema 427 Cobra that was raced in 1966.

How about GT/AA/A. Then the Big block Camaro, etc would have a place to run separate from the small blocks in GT/AA.Several great cars sitting because cannot compete with the FWD cars at 2600 lb. Take these to the even 7 lb wt break and they could seem much better.. This has been asked for MANY years for the separation....
Travis, you have the contacts, why not at least ASK for help for GT also. |

I agree with Dick. We need a 7.0 and a 7.5 wt break in GT. It would definitely help with getting the higher HP engines in the class. After all stock and super stock have gotten some help in this area.
