Re: 302 ford intake advise
Parker intake with a 4 hole 1" tapered spacer...Better plenum than a Victor JR.

Re: 302 ford intake advise
I ran a Victor jr. on my 270 hp 302 crate motor and it ran pretty good. I did have a few drivability issues like stumbly running in the water and staging. I installed a Performer RPM air gap dual plane and it cured any issue I had plus picked up about five hundredths overall and much easier to drive. This combo uses a .498 lift hydraulic roller and a GT40P head. Went 11.40s at 111mph @2930 lbs.

Re: 302 ford intake advise
On the Dyno, My Crate Motor 302/270 liked the Victor JR w/ a 1" spacer. and Although the 750 made a touch more peak HP, a smaller carb made better average TQ and HP throughout the range
Here is a fun 331 built at the local racing engine shop. With the exception of the AFR's , a budget build, stock unfilled block, Cast scat crank , scat rods etc.. Victor JR, and Dave insisted on the Demon carb.. Enjoy, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfMEigESypE https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC69...revJlEXyJH9k9w |
