Re: for real or BS
Tree,
I will look through some of my old pics and see what I can find. Off the top of my head it ran 14.0's and up. I know there were many that were faster but that's is what my memory is saying. Jim |

Re: for real or BS
W J,
Here you go: stat's for '66 Valiant 235hp. Stock: V100 sedan: 2808lbs , 210hp nhra factor , K/S or K/SA Signet Coupe: 2831lbs, 210hp factor, K/S or K.SA Signet Convert: 2947lbs, 210 hp, M/S or M/SA Super Stock: Sedan: 2808lbs, 230hp factor, SS/K or SS/KA Coupe: 2831lbs, 230 hp, SS/K or SS/KA Convert: 2947lbs, 230 hp, SS/K or SS/KA HP to weight ratio: V100 = 13.37 for stock, 12.21 for SS Coupe = 13.48 stock, 12.32 for SS Convert = 14.03 stock, 12.81 for SS Oddly enough the NHRA guide shows this engine available for 4 door sedans but not station wagons yet I know an old man in AL that has a maroon station wagon with the 235hp and a 4 speed, he's in his 80's and is the original owner....he bought it in 1965 to tow his boat and take the family along. WJ You can find this info by going to the NHRA classification guide at www. nhra.com/competition/classification.aspx; scroll down the page until you find the car and engine combo you want info on. God luck, JIm R |
