Re: 2013 2.9L Super Cobra Jet Crash at Cecil County
Bo- Thanks for passing on the info on these.
The text will be updated shortly to reflect the Cobra Jet use. Also our original pricing was based on very low production, as we're using more of them we can pass our volume savings on to the racers. Expect a price reduction at the first of the year. Thanks, Jesse |

30+ barometer, 40% humidity and 40sF. It was Natures natural NOS day. My car ran 2 tenths quicker than its best ET at Mason Dixon 2 weeks before. Best was a13.12 best yet ran a 12.92 backed up by a 12.88 at Cecil. The track was well preped despite all the breakdowns and blow ups'. There were a lot too and things for a while just ground to a halt. Some cars use to normal wheelies were making huge ones and some headed for the wall just like that Stang. Those cars definitely needed wheelie bars Saturday. D |

I am not sure why you would do that eather, with it not being a stick car. If you look close enough you can see a difference in pedal height so he was holding the brake pedal also.

Since these cars for the most part are a mid 9 second ride before any mods it may not be a good starter car or a car for someone to move into that hasnt really gone that fast before. I mean no disrepect to any driver but if you go from your 13 second car and all of a sudden jump into one of these factory rockets there is going to be a pretty steep learning curve. Like Bo said "hang on tight". Any car in any class that will will run a buck under at 70% throttle has to be taken pretty serious. And yes wheelie bars would be a good for anyone that has one of these.
Just my 2 cents |
