Unfortunately, nhra makes the rules either love them or get off their lawn.....

Come back and talk to me when ANY combo can use an aluminum head and I might see things a little differently.

Guess if I build let's say a 1988 Firebird or Camaro with a 350 TPI I can use the Corvette aluminum heads on it? Hey, it is a production head and was used on the same basic engine in the same year..............

Well, I guess you could but the guide says you can't.

Who's the enemy?
The racers who have pushed the NHRA to adapt the rule book to the current "state of the art" Stock Eliminator race car?
In my very humble opinion and with due respect to the participants, these cars are way too sophisticated for my taste.
