Ford guys..........E7 heads question
Just curious.
How quick have you seen a 302 with (stock, untouched) E7 heads go? |
Re: Ford guys..........E7 heads question
Hi Larry!!! right now the stock record in L/S is with a mustang not a cobra 11.73 @ 111

Re: Ford guys..........E7 heads question
Larry I read you PM but for some reason it would not let me reply. That's an impressive time with that combo for sure. See ya soon.

Re: Ford guys..........E7 heads question
I think there are a few cars out there running K/S that have gone a little quicker than that. I think Richard Zink from eastern ohio.
|
Re: Ford guys..........E7 heads question
he has the K record at 11.49 and the L record at 11.73
Gary Summers from KY has the M/S record at 12.00 |
Re: Ford guys..........E7 heads question
Larry.... I am still impressed by those numbers your car ran with the E7 combo! Those NMRA Factory Stock guys, (Tommy Godfrey) is on the verge of 10's with E7's.
PS: I got my clutch issues sorted.. Finally!!!. |

Re: Ford guys..........E7 heads question
My car has only been 12.19 @108 with a FAT tune, and nothing dialed in. When I say nothing, I mean tune, clutch, shift points, shocks... I have been fighting clutch issues for some time now. Oh... and I am running on 7+ year old slicks. 11's are a few weeks away! Factory Stock guys have a different set of rules to follow. They are not as limited when it comes to internals as we are weight wise, and they have a lot more options than we do. It has been a few years since I have looked at the NMRA rulesbook though. Rich Groh at RGR does Godfrey's motors.

Re: Ford guys..........E7 heads question
I've seen inside of most of the factory Stock engines nothing close to a stock eliminator combo all light weight rotating assemblies.
