Kudos to T&D Machine

Just want to say thank you to the people @ T&D. Sent back some new Rockers, one run and the tips siezed, well I was pretty upset so I called T&D told them what happened. The gentleman stopped me in mid sentence after I told jim I had soaked them in Mineral; spirits, stating that there's a note in there telling you not to do that. Well needless to say I found no note and did as I've always done with new Rockers and roller lifters, out come was not desireable. Sent rockers back for repair fully expecting to pay for it. Well got rockers back today...fixed no charge other than shipping. It seems these days it's "pay your money... take your chances". Just want everyone to be aware of what great customer service T&D has. Thank you Joe

Thats great to hear a company helping out when they didn't have to. Question though, why soak the rockers in mineral spirits?

Mine came coated with a light coat of some kind of rust preventer that needed cleaned off.
I also soaked them in solvent first. After blowing them dry with an air hose I then put them in a pan of oil and soaked them overnight before installing.
I would not install them without cleaning them up first.
Just My 2 Cents
