for a sbc 041 head ( s/s ) just need to know what a good flow number is to see if i am at least in the ball park.

If you don't have 260cfm @28" you are not close. And $5000.

There is more to getting that power level than a peak number.
I can show you the flow numbers from 2 different heads and one has a higher peak number, but the head with the lower peak number makes a lot more power. I have the dyno results, too. One head combination kicks the others butt by having a much higher average from .100 to peak. There are some programs that will give you numbers that are available on the net. The key to that statement is: "will give you numbers". I like the idea of asking the question. Interesting answers. |

So you should be able make good power if you have over 260 cfm with a good bottom end.
