Talking Re: Mustang Pro Stock?

Here is some background information. Brian Wolfe, the president of Ford Racing, and Mose Nowland, the chief engineer, have been working with the Jim Cunningham/Erica Enders Ford Pro Stock team since early this year. The objectives were twofold: to develop a new block and heads to make competitive Pro Stock horsepower, and to develop the 2010 Mustang body to be aerodynamically competitive in Pro Stock. The engine is the same 500 inch Ford wedge design that is currently in the Cunningham/Enders car; just with significant upgrades to the block and heads. The redesigned 2010 Mustang body was recently in the wind tunnel and, reportedly, the numbers were competitive with the GXP.
Evidently, Larry Morgan was sufficiently impressed to decide to switch to Ford for 2010. The uncertainty with Dodge and GM may also have affected his decision. Morgan will also work with Ford racing on this project, and Competitionplus.com had an interview with Bob Glidden who said that he had a 3 - 4 hour phone conversation with Brian Wolfe and Mose Nowland concerning the design of the new block and heads. Morgan hopes to have an engine ready for testing around Indy time.
Hope this clears up some misconceptions.
