Your right X tech man I don't have a clue about hard work.
When I started running my dad's 1983 wagon it ran 12.95 in M/SA. After six gear changes, seven different cams, three carbs, three sets of headers, and over 500 hours of work it now runs 12.20s in O/SA. Our 1988 ran 13.00 in P/SA and now it runs 12.50s.
So don't stand (or sit in you case) there from the side lines and tell me about how the younger generation just buys their way to the top. There are still some of us who know how to fine tune a combo.
And by the way this happened 12 years ago with LT1 cars. Everyone with a 67-69 camaro was crying and they STILL ARE.
Class racing is not fair so race what you have and complain or build something new.
