I heard over the PA that he hit the wall. Here's what it says on DRC in the session one comp notes:

Ouch!! Cocuzza makes a strong clean mid-fifty under pass and then had problems getting the car stopped on the top end. He looked to have tagged the wall way down track. He is out of the car and OK, but the call has gone out for lots of sweepers and brooms to the end of the track.
