Default Re: NHRA does not budge from National Event Entry Procedure

How much staff is needed to operate say 64 car field vs a 128 car field. Not many I would believe. It is good to know the entries ahead of time for parking, schedule, etc. But if you are in the entertainment business, you should be prepared for the expectant count. More is better, and can be easily adjusted to. The way it is now they are lowering entry quotas. And I will just about bet you that personnel working at the track are not being over paid. The only impact that a higher than expected car count does is require more pit space.

Having far less car count definitely hurts the promoter/event sponsor, but they should never be understaffed. Service is a value to the customer.
