How will the A car clearly see the red, when the ambers are blinded and the green light illuminates until the A car has left?
I think the previous poster was pointing out that the current statistics of potentially impacted races are skewed because the faster car sees the red and then hits the tree harder as a result. It is a fair point, but I could imagine that there are also drivers who become by distracted by the red and don't hit the tree as hard.
At any rate, the number of impacted races does not change the good principle behind the system.
