Wow. Lots of conspiracy theories. Nary a shred of evidence. Any chance this was done simply because enough racers, manufacturers, and perhaps even a few hard core fans asked for it?

Personally, I think this has the makings of the best class race in a decade. I'd hate to think anyone is staying home just because they feel the need to protect their combination.

But oh, please make Sept. 1-2 a pair of cool crisp fall days in Indy.
