EXACTLY! We have all known it was 160 since the season started... you wanna run The Go... then load your stuff up 4-5 times the other 51 weeks out of the year and Go to the track.

All valid points, however, not everyone hangs on the computer all year. NHRA has been adjusting quotas in a certain way. In large part based upon the prior year. SG an SC have been no where near 160 and Stk SS have been north of 170 so it would not have been an expectation to see it drop.
2 things have always been true about Indy.
1) Easier to enter
2) harder to qualify
